A unique programme with V.I.P.S.
Also this year Cremona Musica hosted very important people of the international music scenario including:
the winners of the prestigious Cremona Musica Awards: the violinist Salvatore Accardo; the composer and conductor Ezio Bosso; the luthier Amnon Weinstein, who is exhibiting some violins from the Holocaust, from his exhibition "Violins of Hope"; the clarinetist Richard Stoltzman; the Spanish guitarist Paco Peña. The program was completed by more than 20 piano recitals, and dozens of concerts devoted to strings, winds, guitars, and accordions.
Cremona Musica also hosted the National Forum of Musical Instruments, where the Dismamusica Report 2019 has been presented, with all the new data about the situation of the market and possible development solutions.

Mondomusica (strings)
This year Cremona Musica payed homage to Violins of Hope, the exhibition that collects violins from the Holocaust, by Amnon Weinstein. The fair hosted some of the violins from the collection, that were played in concert by violinists Cihat Askin and Sevil Ulucan Weinstein. Among the special guests of this edition, there were also the legendary Italian violinist Salvatore Accardo. The list of the protagonists of Mondomusica also includes the violinists Cinzia Barbagelata, Yulia Berinskaya, Valentina Danelon, Dino De Palma, Elsa Martignoni, Kristina Mirkovic, Sara Zeneli, the Orchestra Monteverdi-Stradivari di Cremona conducted by Francesco Fiore, the String Orchestra of the Institute "A. Stradivari", the cellists Richard Aaron, Yelda Ozgen and Luciano Tarantino. Also this year Cremona Musica hosted the final of Gewa Young Contest.

Piano Experience (pianos)
Piano Experience offered more than 20 piano recitals. Among the protagonists of this edition there were Angelo Arciglione, Francesco Attesti, Maurizio Baglini, Ramin Bahrami, Paolo Buonvino, Luca Ciammarughi, Claudia D'Ippolito, Jed Distler, Inna Faliks, Kekko Fornarelli, Enrico Intra, Katharina Kegler, Andrea Keller, Ivan Krpan, Jin Ju, Evgenia Lysohor, Alessandro Marangoni, Risto-Matti Marin, Joseph Edoardo Mossali, Elena Papini, Roland Pöntinen, Andrea Rebaudengo, Eliane Reyes, Riccardo Risaliti, Igor Roma, Andrea Rucli, Konstantin Scherbakov, Gwilym Simcock, Andrea Tonoli, Ingolf Wunder, Laura Zanoli.
There was also the Disklavier Composers Contest, the piano competition for Disklavier, the Yamaha piano playing by itself, with a jury composed of Paolo Buonvino, Carlo Boccadoro, Stuart Isacoff, Gwilym Simcock and Fabio Vacchi.
Andrea Vizzini and Francesca Costanza were the protagonists of the Yamaha Silent Wifi Concert for piano and guitar, in Piazza del Comune in Cremona. An event organized in collaboration with Eusalp, the Chamber of Commerce of Cremona, Lombardy Region, within the project that also includes a photo exhibition in the city center (at the Bertazzola del Torrazzo), and the exhibition of some pieces of red spruce, that will be collocated next to Stradivari's grave and at Cremona Musica, in order to remember the destruction of the forests that produce the wood traditionally used by luthiers, due to a storm, exactly one year ago.

Cremona Winds (winds instruments)
The legendary American clarinetist Richard Stoltzman was the protagonist of a masterclass and a concert, together with his wife Mika Stoltzman (marimba). The program includes nine concerts, two masterclasses, and the presentation of the CD Bach Sanssouci, with Massimo Mercelli and Ramin Bahrami. The artists involved are the saxophonists Mirko Guerrini and Mattia Cigalini, the flutists Mario Caroli, Mario Notaristefano and Irena Kavcic, the bassoonist Andrea Bressan, the clarinetists Alessandro Carbonare (with the pianist Monaldo Braconi) Tommaso Lonquich (performing in trio with the harpist Annaleen Lenaerts and the flutist Irena Kavcic), and Pietro Tagliaferri (with the pianist Francesco Attesi).
Among the most interesting curiosities, the Brazilian exhibitor J'Elle Stainer presented the largest saxophone in the world, certified by the Guinness World Records!

Acoustic Guitar Village (guitars)
The garden of the fair hosted three days of live music, including the celebration for the 50 anniversary of Woodstock, with Jeff Pevar (David Crosby's guitarist), Jackie Perkins, Inger Nova Jorgensen, and classic events such as the Italian Bluegrass Meeting (special guests Paul Stowe & Trevor Morriss), and Corde e Voci d'Autore, a show for guitarists-songwriters, this year also featuring Davide Van De Sfroos. At the Museo Civico Ala Ponzone, Paco Peña performed in concert during an evening devoted to Spanish and flamenco guitars.
The program is completed by historical exhibitions, masterclasses of lutherie (with Dana Bourgeois, Michael Greenfield, and Ken Parker) and of guitar technique (with Pierre Bensusan and Micki Piperno), the New Sounds of Acoustic Music, devoted to emerging artists, and the Bob Brozman Memorial Slide Contest, for a program that combines both classical and acoustic guitar, without forgetting other stringed instruments, both plucked and plectra

Accordion Show (accordions)
The main protagonists of this edition of the Accordion Show were Diego Trivellini, Riccardo Tesi, and the duo formed by Franco Casabianca and Gianluca Cambi, winner of the accordion world championship. There will be many events conceived to discover the world of the accordion, such as the presentation of the prototype of Leonardo Da Vinci's accordion, rebuilt in Castelfidardo, a conference by experts, and a historical exhibition with instruments crafted between the beginning of the 20th century and the '70s, curated by Marino Lorenzini.
Ezio Bosso presented the project "Che Storia è la Musica", together with the producer and co-author of the TV show, Angelo Bozzolini, the director of Rai3, Stefano Coletta, and Beatrice Coletti, a member of RAI's BoD. The Media Lounge hosted two important roundtables about the current situation of the music system. The first was devoted to the organization of live music, with representatives of concert institutions (Festival di Stresa, Keyboard Trust of London, Theater Limburg, Novaya Opera Theater of Moscow, Musica con le Ali) and orchestras (Flanders Symphony, Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice). The second one devoted to higher musical education, with directors and department heads from institutions like the Juilliard School, UCLA, Beijing Central Conservatory, the Accademia del Festival of Verbier, the Istituto Monteverdi of Cremona. The International Media Lounge of Cremona Musica consists of 30 journalists representing some of the most important Italian and international music outlets.
There were also Digital Space, by Pier Calderan, many book presentations, the AIARP workshop about the setting of the acoustic piano, the presentation of the educational project for pianists "Dædalus – the artist in his youth", conceived by Alexander Lonquich and Cristina Barbuti, the presentation of the project "Play it Again", the diploma ceremony of courses of the Trinity College of London, and the first edition of the "Abbiati del Disco" Award.
